I don’t know how I missed this news, especially since Apple is just a couple of weeks away from officially releasing the iPhone 16. Recently, a new video made its way around the internet, showing the iPhone 16 in black, surprisingly out in the rain.
The video was shared by Majin Bu, who often finds leaks on the Chinese social media site Weibo. The iPhone 16 in the video looks similar to the leaks we’ve seen before.
What’s interesting is that it’s shown off in the rain, but since iPhones have been waterproof since the iPhone 7, that’s not too surprising.

The back of the phone features a new vertical dual-camera setup. While some think this design change is to make the new model stand out, it’s actually optimized for recording Spatial Video.
Apple wants users to create more Spatial Video, which can be viewed on the Vision Pro, and the vertical camera alignment is better suited for this purpose.
iPhone Event Officially Scheduled for September 9
Apple is gearing up for a major event at its Cupertino headquarters on Monday, Sept. 9. At this highly anticipated press event, the tech giant is expected to unveil the latest iPhones and Apple Watch models, creating a buzz among fans and industry experts alike.
The event will be streamed live on Apple’s website and YouTube, continuing the tradition of pre-recorded product launches that Apple has favored since 2020. These fall launches are crucial as they set the stage for the holiday shopping season, and this year promises to be no different.
