Apple just released software updates for all its devices. The biggest update is iOS 18.2 for iPhones because it adds a lot of new features. The Apple Watch also got an update with watchOS 11.2, but it didn’t add as many new things.
However, one of the new features is pretty useful – especially if you use your Apple Watch to control your iPhone’s camera.
The Camera Remote app on the Apple Watch could control your iPhone’s camera for a long time, but it didn’t do much. It worked like a shutter button and let you see the camera view so you could take photos and videos while making sure you were in the frame.
Before, when recording videos, you could only start and stop them. Now, with watchOS 11.2, the app has a pause button. This lets you pause your video and continue recording without starting a new one.
It’s a small update and may not matter to everyone, but it’s a nice improvement for people who use their Apple Watch to record iPhone videos.
