Apple has extended the time customers can renew their AppleCare+ coverage to 45 days after it expires, up from the previous 30 days. This extension applies in countries like the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, and more.
According to AppleCare+ documents, first reported by MacRumors, coverage can now continue for 24 or 36 months or on a monthly or annual basis until you choose to cancel.
To check when your AppleCare+ coverage expires, go to Settings > General > About > Coverage on your iPhone or iPad. On a Mac, click the Apple Menu, then go to System Settings > General > About.
You can also check your coverage by visiting https://checkcoverage.apple.com/ and sign in with your Apple ID to view your devices, coverage status, and more.
