Apple typically holds its spotlight firmly on its special events, particularly when unveiling its flagship product, the iPhone. This year, the iPhone 16 announcement breaks tradition by moving to Monday instead of the usual Tuesday to avoid coinciding with the Presidential debate.
Traditionally, new iPhones hit the shelves on Fridays following the announcement. However, this year’s timing is slightly altered. An upcoming Apple Store opening in Solna, Sweden, on September 20 strongly hints at the iPhone 16’s availability date. Apple likely timed the store’s opening to align with the new iPhone’s release, avoiding a missed opportunity for sales on its debut day.
