Apple will launch new M4 versions of its 14-inch MacBook Pro, including higher-end models with M4 Pro and M4 Max chips. That’s according to Gurman’s latest Power On newsletter, which reports that desktop Macs are also upgrading, with a redesigned Mac mini featuring M4 and M4 Pro chip options and the iMac finally transitioning to the M4 chip.
A new iPad mini is expected to launch in early November, marking its first update since 2021. Looking ahead to 2025, Gurman reveals that Apple plans to release M4-powered 13-inch and 15-inch MacBook Air models, a new iPhone SE with Apple Intelligence, updated iPad Air models with new Magic Keyboards, and a refreshed AirTag.
For Mac power users, new Mac Studio and Mac Pro models with M4 chips are in development but will not arrive until mid-to-late 2025.
