Recently, Apple introduced a collection of new Immersive Videos for Vision Pro, featuring series and films. Users of the AR/VR headset can look forward to some amazing new content, with some videos available right now.
“Apple Immersive Video is a groundbreaking leap forward for storytelling, offering Apple Vision Pro users remarkable experiences with an unparalleled sense of realism and immersion,” said Tor Myhren, Apple’s vice president of Marketing Communications.
Apple’s Immersive Video combines 8K 3D video with a 180-degree field of view and Spatial Audio to create an unmatched viewing experience. Vision Pro owners, or anyone who has tried the highly recommended demo of the AR/VR headset, know how incredible the experience can be.
The lineup starts with Boundless, a travel series featuring an episode on hot air ballooning in Cappadocia, Türkiye. Nature enthusiasts can anticipate new episodes of Wild Life in August. Additionally, Elevated, an aerial travel series, is set to debut in September.
The content lineup covers a variety of genres, including nature documentaries, sports events, and more. “Wild Life” will transport viewers to Kenya’s Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, while “Elevated” offers aerial tours of Hawaii and New England.
Later this year, Apple will showcase special performances from top artists, starting with The Weeknd. Viewers can also look forward to “Submerged,” a scripted short film directed by Academy Award winner Edward Berger, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend. Additionally, a new sports series in partnership with Red Bull will feature thrilling Big-Wave Surfing.
