Shortly after the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max were released last September, some customers experienced overheating issues. Apple fixed this problem with an iOS 17 update, but they might take it a step further with the iPhone 16 models set to be released later this year.
According to The Information, a source said that iPhone 16 models will have a “larger graphite sheet” inside to help with overheating. This matches a rumor from last November about improved thermal management in the iPhone 16.
Apple is expected to release the iPhone 16 series in September, so they should be just a few months away. With this change, the overheating issue should be solved for good.
