Recently, Apple TV+ has officially announced that the thriller series “Criminal Record” will return for a second season. The show stars Peter Capaldi, known for “Doctor Who,” and Cush Jumbo from “The Good Wife.”
In season two, Detective June Lenker, played by Jumbo, investigates a murder at a political rally, where tensions rise after a far-right group attacks. Detective Daniel Hegarty, played by Capaldi, is now involved in police intelligence and may hold the key to solving the case, but his help comes with a risky deal.
Since its debut, “Criminal Record” has been lauded as a gripping and shocking crime thriller, earning pretty good reviews and a Certified Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The show is set in London and showcases the intense clash between two brilliant detectives as they navigate a complex murder investigation.
