Apple benefits greatly from its deal, making Google the default search engine on Safari and recently earning $26 billion. While there are alternatives, Apple isn’t impressed with the competition.

Google has been labeled a monopolist in the U.S. due to its dominance in search, and its partnership with Apple is under scrutiny again. Microsoft’s Bing was considered a possible replacement, but Eddy Cue, Senior VP of Services, has stated that it never stood a chance.
