Apple TV has released the first teaser for “Imperfect Women,” a gripping new psychological thriller starring and executive produced by Emmy winners Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington.
Created for television by showrunner Annie Weisman (Physical), the eight-episode limited series is set to make its global debut on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
The series will launch with two episodes, followed by new installments every Wednesday through April 29.
A Decades-Long Friendship Under Fire
Based on the acclaimed novel by Araminta Hall, the story follows a crime that shatters the lives of three women who have been friends for decades.
The thriller dives deep into themes of guilt, retribution, and the irrevocable compromises that alter our lives. As the investigation unfolds, the truth reveals that even the closest friendships may not be what they seem.
An All-Star Ensemble Cast
Joining Moss and Washington is a massive ensemble of talent, including:

The series is a co-production between 20th Television and Apple Studios.
Director Lesli Linka Glatter (Homeland) helms episodes one, four, and five. Executive producers include Lindsey McManus, Pilar Savone, Kay Oyegun, and the original author, Araminta Hall.
Since its launch in 2019, Apple TV has become a powerhouse for original content, earning 691 wins and over 3,000 award nominations to date. “Imperfect Women” looks to be the next prestige hit in that growing legacy.
