If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to upgrade your old timepiece—or finally try an Apple Watch—that moment is now. The Apple Watch SE 3 (40mm GPS) has dropped to a new all-time low of $199.99 ($50 off) for the Starlight color on Amazon, making it the best value in Apple’s current lineup.

Packed with Premium Features

Despite its “entry-level” name, the SE 3 is loaded with functions. The always-on display lets you check the time or a notification with just a look—you won’t need to raise your wrist or tap the screen. For hands-free use, the watch supports the wrist flick and double tap gestures. These allow you to clear notifications, set timers, and answer or end calls without touching the display.

Under the surface, the SE 3 runs on the powerful S10 chip, the same processor found in the Series 11 and Ultra 3 models. This keeps things running smoothly and handles on-device Siri requests quickly.

Health, Power, and What’s Different

Apple has improved the health tracking suite, making the SE 3 a very capable daily health device. New features include sleep apnea notifications, a wrist-temperature sensor, and ovulation tracking. The watch remains great at tracking your activity, exercise, and sleep habits.

The battery still lasts around 18 hours, but Apple added fast charging to the SE 3, meaning quicker power-ups when you need them.

This watch is a steal, but it does leave out a few features found on the pricier models. You won’t find the Ultra Wideband chip (used for Precision Finding on iPhone), EKG function, or blood oxygen measure. Still, for $199, it’s a highly capable everyday companion.
