Spotify now shows pricing information in its app for iPhone users in the European Union. This change comes after a long legal battle with Apple. However, users won’t be able to click a link to buy subscriptions outside of the Apple App Store. Spotify decided not to accept Apple’s new, complicated developer terms, which would have allowed linking to external payment options but would require Apple to take a cut of those sales. Spotify argues that these fees are “illegal and predatory.”
