Paramount Plus is launching a new SpongeBob SquarePants-themed Environment for Apple Vision Pro users today. This immersive experience, featuring an interactive jellyfish game, takes users underwater to Bikini Bottom. It’s all in celebration of 25 years of SpongeBob SquarePants.
As reported by TechRadar, the new Environment is available to Paramount Plus subscribers starting today. Daniel Reich, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Product and Design at Paramount Plus, shared:
- “Bringing SpongeBob’s Bikini Bottom to life has been an exciting creative process. We’re thrilled to offer this unique, interactive streaming experience for our subscribers and the show’s loyal fans.”
The experience includes a game where you catch jellyfish. To play, you look at the jellyfish as they move around the Environment and tap your fingers together to “catch” them with a net.
This new SpongeBob SquarePants Environment follows Disney+’s release of an Iceland Environment with National Geographic and Apple’s launch of a Lake Vrangla Environment for Apple Vision Pro. A new Bora Bora option is also coming this fall with VisionOS 2.
