Apple TV+ is set to launch a new podcast series called “Scamtown,” premiering on August 26. This 11-part series dives into the world of scams, showcasing some of the most bizarre and unbelievable schemes out there.
The podcast is narrated by Emmy-nominated filmmakers James Lee Hernandez and Brian Lazarte, known for their work on “The Big Conn” and “McMillion$.”
Each episode of “Scamtown” focuses on a different scam, featuring stories from those who lived through them. From a clever telemarketing bust to a rare book thief’s adventures, the series is packed with true crime tales that are stranger than fiction.
Apple TV+ subscribers can access all 11 episodes on August 26, while nonsubscribers can listen to the first two episodes. New episodes are released weekly.
